I think you mean JRPGs do terrible in Europe.  Europe just happen to love the Gothic series(can't understand why they would love those bug ridden games though).

WKC sell a million copies in Japan alone on a 2.5 million userbase=isn't happening.  I think the game has a better chance of reaching a million in the US than in Japan.

I did. The last JRPG to sell a million was FFX 5 years ago!

We dont have accurate numbers for Europe ,so we cant know how RPG sells here.I think they do quite well ,but only based in anecdotical evidence.But when big RPG appear they are the first in the sales lists ...not too much legs but they may be very frontloaded.We really dont know unless Gfk or Charttrack give us some numbers...
