Actually, are those numbers counting the fact that games released in Japan/EU/NA often had different artwork (with different expressions) or are they just based on one region?

A flop? Hey hey hey kiddos, it's a remake of a remake of a remake. HAL put this together with two guys working overtime on Sunday nights for a month... an voila "Kirby Superstar"is born. HAL Laboratories probably has to sell 50 copies to break even and most of that money is covering the "cigarette & saki" fund.
