Could you link a source saying they are supply constraint, because they have just recently shipped a large shipment, and you say they would be out of them again? And no other site I frequent has made mention of a supply constraint. |
I don't know about right now, but they were short on stock right after the price drop. Here's two very reliable sites on sales commenting on 360 shortages.
From Media Create http://www.m-create.com/ranking/ :
"Also, in the hardware area, the Xbox 360 saw the release of a new 60GB model as well as price drops across all models on 9/11. Because of this, the system saw sales approaching the Wii and PSP. However, shipments appear to have been too low to satisfy demand, and had there been enough units there is a high probability that sales would have increased even further."
From sinobi http://ameblo.jp/sinobi/ :
"Had there been enough stock in place, I think it (the Xbox 360) would have taken first place with an overwhelming number, but whatever the case, comgratulation on taking 1st place for the first time. It's hoped that they will fix the hardware shortage situation ASAP."
