The article is geared toward the Japanese Audience.  Trying to relate it to a DQ game is good.  It will be more of a mideval RPG with Knights, Castles, Kingdoms, etc.

I have no problem with it being medieval (heck, Suikoden has Knights, Castles and Kingdoms and it has some of the best stories ever), but I think this game deserves more than a totally cliched and uninteresting story (if it has a story of DQ8 quality)

Actually, the article says :
- First RPG on the market to be Full HD, before FFXIII
- Drgonquest like story
- The same type of image quality as Final Fantasy
- Tension like "a super famous Action game that we will keep secret until TGS"
and all of this comes from a Level 5 head.

So, like always, I won't trust any of the translated interviews, people always put lots of BS in them, that was never in the interview, but was only their speculation.

This'll turn out well, first of all, no one mentioned the xbox, so you're clearly flame baiting here.

Secondly, for it to run 1080p:

Framerate will probably be 10-15 FPS
OR
Graphics will look like crap

white knight chronicles looks to be spectacular.

to answer a user in this thread, xbox 360 cannot do native 1080p only upscale to that resolution

i will be importing this game its confirmed to have english subs.

this could be the 1st true rpg gem of this gen

Is this 2005 again? Sony talked up 1080P as the standard for "true HD" blah blah blah and they have maybe 2 games that run on native 1080p and most ports look better still on the Xbox 360! I recommend that people wait and see the truth. The PS3 so far has proven quite inferior to the Xbox 360 and yes, the Xbox 360 can run native 1080P.
