I know theres still games to come out and stuff but I dont think anyone can deny that MGS4 is going to have a big bat when it comes to the plate.... no other game matches the story,gameplay,graphics etc...... I will be really mad if GTA4 was to win it, i mean it became just as repetetive as assasins creed (maybe not that bad)... I enjoyed the first Gears of War but the 2nd one looks to be more of the same honestly...with just a few additions..... Resistance 2 looks like they put alot of work into and it shows but again it could just be more of the same.... as far as LBP goes I really think that after all the time they put into it and creativity that this game will definitly meet expectations... I'm sure I missed some games so please throw out some opinions on what games you think are " SERIOUS Contenders".

Well you would have to throw in the Wii games: Fit, Kart and SSBB

I'm sure either GTA4 or Fallout 3 will take GOTY for most sites.

Oh I'll be pissed if GTA4 takes most of the awards, GTA became the same game over and over after VICE CITY.... VICE CITY was the best one ever made.

It'll be one of GTA IV, MGS IV or Fallout 3. Gears of War 2 is the most likely candidate beyond those three.

Mine will be Left 4 Dead.

From what hasn't been mentioned yet, Left4Dead. Valve has never even once failed to deliver, and this is a new IP for them so this could rock the very foundations of gaming, again. Or it might not, but it will still be a AAA title.

Also Dead Space, if they really pull it off this game should be REALLY good.

GTA4 was a HUGE disappointment! Yes Ive played GTA4.
Fallout 3 looks like complete shit dont know where all the love for that game is coming from.

Oh, forgot to mention Red Alert 3. I doubt it will be a goty, it's not westwood that's doing the game.
