Yeah, from reports I have seen online, the game has been released in the northeast region of the US (one being my state apparently), but I don't plan on picking it up since I'm broke. Also, it's not like he got the game two weeks early, as it's only like one week and it doesn't really matter on the long run whether you get the plat first or not (since I know Marcio will undoubtedly play online a lot), since as long as you get it in the long run (if you are the trophy whores as we all apparently are), it's good.

Also, I consider doing the glitch in Buzz to get most of the trophies to be cheating if they are in the league. While most of the top players on the leaderboard on that one site have probably done the glitch, I still consider it cheating here in this league.

Jboy, just calm down. It's not like he's cheating and it's not his fault for getting the game early. I think everyone knew this was going to happen with something as big as MW2, especially when you consider games lesser known have been gotten before the street date. Yes, I realize you're jealous that he got it early (as are most people who have to wait until Monday/Tuesday), but it's not cheating or anything if he got it early and happens to get trophies for it.

I disagree with the whole worldwide because it would be a lot  more work for Arcturus. I dont think its a big deal if someone gets a game before me.

Really, it isn't his fault that he got the game early, especially if stores sell it early. MW2 is a highly anticipated game and he shouldn't have to wait to play just because of some internet trophy league. Also, you consider importing games to be cheating? I guess I'm a cheater then, since I plan to import Musou Orochi Z, as the game won't be ever released outside of Japan and I really want to play it. If you have the option to import a game that either won't be released outside of Japan in like 6 months or won't ever release outside of Japan, I don't see the problem. If they import some crappy ass game just for trophies, then that's their loss for spending their money (or their parents' money) on something stupid like trophies.

Oh, just to clear the record, I have never cheated for a trophy and will never cheat for one. I don't see the point in cheating for something as stupid as a trophy. That means I actually played through Eat Lead twice and if I were ever to play the one Buzz game, I wouldn't use that one glitch.

TO EVERYONE IN THE TROPHY LEAGUE

The trophy league just hit a milestone with 200 members, which means that nobody else can join. I feel like we should kick people out of the league that cheat but give them a warning first. But at least 5 people most know your cheating or something like that.

No importing isn't cheating. I never said it was. I simply said it isn't fair because the game isn't available worldwide unless you import it. If someone chooses to not play a game thats one thing but not being able to play a game is another. and people can easily play games not available in other regions and get up in the leaderboard. But those who cannot get those games are just SOL. And the whole concept of a leaderboard is,whether its admitted or not, is to show off you're a better gamer. its like stats for football or basketball. The higher the stats the more likely the better player. So if somebody is playing a game that you cannot get is it fair to you? no its not. Even if you didnt want the game its still unfair because if you wanted to play it, you couldnt.

I don´t see what´s the problem he got the game early and he is collecting trophies, not he´s fault the store released it earlier. I doubt anyone of us would wait to get the trophies until the official release date, same thing happend to Uncharted 2.

Most games get a later release in Europe/Australia. So that means everyone in US that gets the game on time and plays/plats it before it even releases here is cheating?

I rarely post but i always read because its interesting how some people get away with stuff. No I'm not in the league and will never join because of this stuff right here. Of course no one sees anything wrong with it because its marcio. people here pick favorites. Almost everyone in the top 15 (with the exception of jboy0990) seem to be close and the rest could just go to hell. Just because he got the Hannah platinum everyone treats him differently. Now I'll be willing to bet money if something were to come up about him cheating he would be banned. Thats another reason I don't join. Everyone picks sides and if you don't have 20+ platinums or buy your games instead of rent, you can go to hell. Even Yokimoto don't get that kinda shit and he was the first to plat Hannah. I'd be pissed too.
