Thanks for taking a look into this, fadetoone.

Yes, that's the page with everyone's information on it. Ideally, I'd like to be able to log into that page, then start a macro or script that would run through the entire page to collect the PSN ID, Bronze count, Silver count, Gold count, Platinum count of each person on the friends list. Then dump that information into Excel or a csv file.

I toyed with it a bit today.  First I tried to use some existing tools, and they weren't very friendly.  Then I tried to automate logging in and pulling the data automatically, but they use way too much javascript nonsense.  I finally just ended up playing with a script that would require copying and pasting the page output first, but I can do some neat things with it.  The interesting part will be figuring out how to make it user friendly.

Side note:  Just got the platinum in Eat Lead.  Hurrah.

Congrats on the Eat Lead platinum.

Glad to here that it sounds like it's possible to do. I don't mind haven't to do some of the tasks manually, like logging into the page and copying and pasting the contents of the page into another doc or tool. Are you using any tools to make the script? Was it fairly quick to make? In terms of making it user friendly, what did you have in mind?

Sorry for all of the questions, I'm just really interested in taking advantage of this new system :)

I bought Infamous, but its easily a rental being fairly short w/ no multiplayer and no DLC for the near future. Still I wanted to buy it to support Sucker Punch for a great PS3 exclusive.

Disgaea 3 is probably a better purchase although I've never played it.

Short? inFamous is a good 15 hours a playthrough.

The first playthrough of Infamous, assuming you go after the Dead Drops and shards, will probably take around 20 hours, more or less. Playing the second time should take considerably less time, since you know the missions well and shouldn't have to go after the shards/drops.

I'm still gonna need some help getting the online trophies for LOTR: Conquest.

My evil playthrough (second playthrough) only took me about 4 or 5 hours.

Disgaea 3 Europe patch needs to be released already. I bought my copy a month ago and I'm dying to play it but I don't want to be half way completed and have the patch announced. I'll probably fold to pressure in a few weeks. Is anyone attempting the Batman:AA platinum?

Now to decide which game I am getting during lunch today ( I have 80$ of best buy reward zone to use :P)

I'm leaning toward Infamous or Disgaea 3...

Definetly inFamous, imo every ps3 owner should try it.

@Ail: Get inFamous. Though I haven't tried Disgaea, I'm pretty sure it's not as awesome as inFamous. You COULD rent it, but it's one of the best games on PS3, so why?

i still say get disgaea. infamous will drop in price very quickly while disgasea is going to stay roughly the same, in a few months you can probably get infamous for about 25-30 bucks cheaper then you can now

Draven.

Infamous is pretty much confirmed that it will get a price drop for Europe anyway, think it will hit shelves in September.

Disgaea should be $40 new (it is at Gamestop), while Infamous is $60, so if you fork over an extra $20, you might be able to get both of them.
