HideoK said: Oooooooh new Playstation trophy card functionality this week! @Arcturus This could save you time on league updates since you can now compile the data from your PC instead of the PS3. It even allows you to compare trophy data with 5 other users at one time. Watch: http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/12/scea-expands-trophy-functionality-of-playstation-com/ |
I saw this news on the Playstation blog this morning. It's great news!
And for those who don't know, the playstation UK site has also implemented some trophy comparison features on its site. Not sure when these features went live. I actually used the playstation UK site to compile everyone's trophy information for this week's update. It allows you to bring up the trophy information for everyone on your PSN friends list, on the same page. It definitely makes the update quicker to do.
It looks like the US playstation site will have different trophy comparison features then what is found on the UK site. I have no idea why they would develop two separate systems for trophy comparison.
@ Everyone: Does anyone have any experience with creating macros or scripts to extract data from a web page? Having a script or macro to collect everyones trophy information would be a HUGH time saver for me, and would allow me to look into collecting and presenting additional trophy information, like everyone's overall percentage complete, etc.
