I tend to agree that the current system of plat points is good, as it takes 6, 8, or even 10 easy plats to match 1 requiring skill and commitment. I think that's a good balance and gives all styles of plat-hunters a chance.

And really, while rarity may not be a perfect representation of difficulty, it's still the closest available stat that we have. 99 times out of 100, a 10% rarity plat is going to be harder than a 50% rarity one.

Perhaps we should also name the ladder "VGC Platinum Rarity Leaderboard", so that it's clear that the key focus here is rarity.

Ty for the update. How come FFXV's rarity is 12.6 for me and 8.7 for the others? Is it cause of the date completed?

It also has a different first and quickest plat listing next to it. Gottabe off somewhere for sure.

It's fine it shows under the same Final Fantasy XV name but It actually has 5 different trophy lists for different regions:

Europe

American

Japanese

Chinese

Korean

So your saying I can plat this game 5 times if I buy the other 4 versions?  Hmmmm

Replaying chapter 13 4 times is close to how I imagine rotting in hell

Just finished the Telltale Batman game for plat 30. Now maybe I will go back and do Watch Dogs 2 and get that one where I only have 3 trophies left for it.

Telltale Batman has to be the worst game I have played on the PS4 yet optimization-wise. Crashed at least 4 times on me. Frame rates all over the place. You would think for putting out the same style of game time and time again Telltale would get optimization down.
