I'm also playing The Stick of Truth, as well as my wife -- she has her own playthrough going. Maybe one day we could all play something together. P.S. I picked up a PS4 + Infamous: SS bundle (before stock run out again). But I won't really play it until I get 5 more platinum trophies on PS3 haha... |
Thanks Esquoret. Yeah maybe we can all play a 4 player online game together. I think the only time we played together was when I helped you with a co-op trophy in Portal 2?
Congrats on finding a PS4! Its crazy how good PS4 is selling. Xbox One already needs to drop the price by $50 with Titanfall included to compete.
Do you have a plan for which games will be your final 5 plats on PS3?
Hey guys, I'm looking to buy a new gaming headset for my PS4.
99% of the time I use my SVS surround sound but want to switch to a headset for late night gaming sessions and for online chat. I do have an old Turtle Beach headset from 5 years ago, but I was never that impressed by it. Does anyone have any recommendations for PS4 headsets?
I'm considering the Astro A40's or A50's
Also considering the new Sony Gold Wireless headset designed for PS4. One of the things that really entices me about the Sony headset (even though the sound quality isn't as good as the Astro's) is some games like Infamous Second Son will release custom sound profiles that you can download to it.
Np arc, to bad this week was probably my best week since i joined:P
hopefully my plats will be shown next week
Infamous Second Son is pretty fantastic. That final boss on expert mode is a real bitch, though.
FFX seems like a doable plat but I fucking suck at blitzball(was a damn miracle that I beat the Luca goers via story mode)
any tips?

I'm not looking forward to Blitzball, The chocobo race for Tidus's ultimate weapon, or the lightning dodging. Although, I remember last time I played like 10 years ago I had Blitzball mastered. Seem to recall it's best to get Brother on your team as soon as possible. It's been so long I think the hard part will just be trying to remember what I'm doing.
I don't think I ever played it long enough to actually beat Nemesis either, but I had a friend who did.

Definitely not going for Dark Souls II recently, that's for sure. I'm playing South Park now, and got Puppeteer sitting on my shelf too, so there's 2. Porbably a couple of PSN titles like Lone Survivor -- the guide for this game seems so complicated though; I'll take a closer look when I get around to it.
This gen there's built in voice-chat system, so it's great to play together and be able to communicate easily.
I've also been thinking for a while to start a more official boosting system for people here. Like with points or rewards for helpfulness, if possible. Multiplayer trophies can still be a pain, no matter what generation. And we may as well make use of skilled/passionate trophy hunters that constitutes this thread, I reckon.
I wonder if people would be interested or have any ideas.

It is a fantastic game, although I feel it's a little on the short end. I didn't find the final boss on Expert too difficult, considering the boss has a fairly limited moveset.
Finally beat that PITA bike chase in my Big Boss run, and I only had a sliver of health left at the end. Thank god I never have to deal with that BS again. The platinum is nearly mine.
