So when the host quits, that's the end of the game - you fail? It doesn't transfer the remaining players to another host?

And when you fail a 100% risk mission, all your dudes die and you gotta start again?

Sounds like a recipe for frustration, with a side of rage quit. I hate multiplayer trophies! Why couldn't they just stick to what Uncharted did - just try a game or two in multiplayer, that's it.

Yeah, sort of. Basically, you get points (supplies) for kills, revives, etc., and the larger your clan the more supplies you need to keep them all healthy. So if the host drops, your people start starving. I guess there is host migration, but people have figured out that quitting through the XMB doesn't penalize them. If the host quits it does penalize everyone else, however... although I've seen some people saying they're not being penalized anymore.

100% risk missions are no big deal if you do it right. There are a lot of missions you can fail, no problem, because they just give you a bonus of 10% or so to your membership. Even 60% risk missions are fine, since that just means you'll need fewer supplies to keep your remaining people healthy. So if you just do harder missions for everything else and save the easy ones (marking enemies, or simply downing them) for your 100% risk mission, it's cake. The only problem I see is that, again, if the host quits on you THREE times in a row (as happened to me!) you can be boned. And you could even be on your 12th week, no less. But people have complained about it, so hopefully Naughty will make it so that the host dropping doesn't advance the days or something, which would solve the problem.

And maybe they will, or even already have. I was playing just a bit ago and joined a game in progress. At the end of the game it gave me bonus supplies for joining late, something I haven't noticed before. There's a thread on the forum complaining about how joining a game late pretty much screws your ability to get enough supplies, so I think they just added this.

I see, thanks for the info! And I added this paragraph to my last post, but not in time before your reply. I wanted to ask if you think this is normal or not:

I checked two trophy sites, and both of them have "Knowing the Basics" (Win a game of Supply Raid and Survivors in find match) at a LOWER percentage of attainment than "Populace" (Build your clan to 40 people in Factions). I'm assuming you'd need to win more than two games to get to 40 people should put "Knowing the Basics" at a higher percentage - people have said that it does glitch, and if that's the case, it seems it's glitched pretty significantly judging by the percentage difference.

I didn't have any problems with it, but it's possible. It's also possible that a lot of people just play one mode or the other, or simply haven't managed to win a game of both. Supply Raid seems to be favored over Survivors since the game tends to go on longer, giving you the chance to grab more supplies. On Survivors, your team can either roll someone or get rolled so quickly that you don't get enough to sustain your clan.

Ahh okay. Thanks again. Well, I'll wait 'til either the patches start rolling in or platinums become more common.

Damn, I surpassed 4,000 trophies and I didn't even know it. Could have got a better one for #4000

Yeah a beat school one isn't as exciting for a trophy milestone. I finally hit level 30 last night with "DING!" the trophy for clearing the secret pitch black area in Limbo. I might try to go for the 5 deaths or less in one sitting this time on Vita. Did anyone here get that trophy?

Yeah, got it on both Vita and PS3 just the other week. Best advice I can offer is really work on the timing for the reversing gravity section. It's about 5 seconds between each switch. Also, I would suggest working on the section where you have to release the two boxes  by stepping on the 2 floor switches since there's no easy way to determine the proper timing to step on the 2nd switch.

Proudest Platinums:
1. Gran Turismo 5
2. Persona 4 Arena
3. Wipeout HD
4. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2
5. Super Street Fighter 4

I got my PS3 repaired yesterday and was able to play Bioshock Infinite for over an hour last night without running into any loading issues or disc read errors. I'm hoping my PS3 holds out for another year or so.

On an unrelated note, I noticed a few weeks ago that after finishing God of War Ascension and starting Bioshock Infinite that some sort of install file for GoW:A appeared in the Game section of the XMB. The size of the file is 1256MB.

When I was experiencing issues with the Blu-ray drive, I started testing some of my downloaded PSN games to diagnose the issue. Now another install file has appeared in the XMB for that PSN game. Anyone know what these files are, and what's going on?

You mean the bubble like an uninstalled game?  Never got one from playing a game...

Yep. Here it is:

When I press triangle, three options appear:
Install
Delete
Information

EDIT: After looking through my trophies, it turns out that I finished GoW:A back in May, and the disc hasn't been in my PS3 since then. The date in the graphic above shows June 11th. After some Google searches, it appears that a patch was released on the 10th of June (v1.08). It must be the patch...but why would it show in the XMB? PS+ has automatically downloaded and installed dozens of patches in the past, and they never appear in the XMB.
