That's just about the lamest thing I've ever seen. Rockstar's really scraping the bottom of the barrel fro money I guess.

 Man, don't diss these trophies. They sound easy but they do take some work.

A. the know how to make a Japanese account.
B. It takes patience and dedication to sit through 120 things and spamming X... Grr if people are willing to do that for 6 hours the deserve the trophies.

When I'm sitting through it I put my own words for what they are saying. It helps a little. And though the things there are mini games.

 it's actually pretty smart. and it actually works for what they are advertising. and its actually not IN YOUR FACE HUGE BULLETING BUY THIS PRODUCT. now if you have to sit through a commercial after getting the trophies.... (I'd rather have a sponsered trophy then pay a monthly subscription.)

Trophies should be awarded for answering a Quizz after the show to see if you understood something !

Anyway the policy of giving trophies for free stuff on the PSN is questionnable.

From a customer point of view it is nice but makes you wonder where is the limit in what can award you trophies ?

For logging on the Playstation Store ?

^You got to remember this was "supposed" to be Japan only. There's only a few million people that even have a PS3 and probably half that care about trophies. They probably added them there to promote the trophies and get people to want more of them,.

Im kinda with Ail on this.

But so far the one 'game' I dont get is Linger in Shadow thats supposedly gonna come with trophy support.

But its probably so, because Sony is planning to translate each trophy into an custom select item in your HOME inventory.

It's just that stuff like Mainichi trophies doesn't seem to be testing much your gaming skills for me, that's all...

And yeah, I dread Sony adding trophies for doing stuff within Home when it comes out ( Bronze trophy : started 20 multiplayers game session from the home arcade...)

Or worse : Bronze trophy : Visit the IBM home lounge !

I actually tried to change my time zone on the PS3 to Tokyo setting, but no dice.

Its really puzzling me. I have apparently probably restricted myself by attaching my credit card to my master account. Which seems to have and effect on access to places D:.

And Im completely clueless about what to do.

you have to get those mainich issyo trophies. they are just too cute to pass. you want to display them in your "HOME".

have you tried to open a separate account on your PS3 for the japanese PSN? maybe that will work.
