Hey just wondering is it alot harder if you play offline by yourself? Because I finished Demon's Souls by myself alright, but I've been hearing people say for Dark Souls it's like 4 times as difficult if you solo it? - Just wondering if there's any truth to that statement. Thanks.

From what I've seen of it being played, it seems like it's like Demon's Souls. The first time you go through it, it will be highly difficult (I think it's harder than Demon's Souls on the first playthrough), but it gets easier as time goes by. I'm guessing that if you go online and read a lot of stuff about the game or watch videos of the bosses, then it will be easier. If you go in blind, expect quite a bit of a challenge, though.

It certainly wotn be. From the previews so far and from the first 25 min video that leaked, its almost the same as Oblivion.

Magic, bows are better. There are some nice finishing moves and the perks should help, but it will still be leagues behind Dark Souls.

Not really, on most bosses you can summon NPCs to help if you are human.

Online, I had to deal weith invaders a few times.

I haven't beaten the game yet but so far I have met one boss that is a lot of harder than any boss on Demon's Souls and where being able to summon others helps a lot. Basically that boss fight is two bosses at the same time and even iwith NPCs help it still isn't a cake. The fight is however a lot easier if you summon players ( I've helped people beat it, I haven't tried to beat it for myself yet).

Yeah, but I actually expect to play all the games in my backlog :P
