For me I didn't find it much harder than Hard mode. Sure I died more frequently but if you can develop a decent strategy to each of the situations you can get through. I think I did it in one or two sittings. The worst part is when you drop into the sewers, but I eventually found the trick of backtracking and forcing them to spawn early so I could pick them off from above. |
I have read that on hard you can use some of the extras, but you can't on crushing... that would make it harder especially as I plan taking advantage of getting more Wes ammo after every battle

Yup, you can't use most of them as far as I know, but that would defeat the purpose, now, wouldn't it?
got my first platinum (fallout 3) the ending was not worth the effort :(
Also, a question to all Trophy whores Hunters:
What do you think is a good rank ratio?
What I mean is right now I'm working on a "for every 10 bronze I get, I need to get a silver, 10silvers/1 gold 10 golds 1plat" mentality, does everyone else have a scheme or some sort of a plan/formula going?

I agree that the ending could have been better but the game as a whole was a great experience. You really got your money's worth as opposed to other shorter titles.
Apart from the bugs and glitches, my only gripe was that even as an evil doer, I was forced to do good deeds to progress the story, having to ask people nicely to tell me where X was got annoying pretty fast.
