I am on my second run and I finished the game in 49 minutes. I could have done better because the screws carry over. So you`d better have 999 by the time you finish the game. A sub 40 time is possible, the secret is to avoid using continues and revisiting stages.

Please post your times and tips for speedrunners.

I haven't completed the game, but after only two tries in Galaxy Man's level I got 2: 45: 37.

Wow, is the game that short? Sub 40 is possible by just going through all levels, barely noticing the enemies? Wow. o_o

I've yet to download it because my stupid internet is not working on my Wii! Got to wait until this weekend.

I'll post my time here in a few days.



Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Here are my time attack times (all pretty bad save for concrete and hornet man)
Magma - 2:13
Hornet - 1:44
Galaxy - 2:29
Tornado - 2:02
Jewel - 2:06
Splash - 2:24
Plug - 2:01
Concrete - 1:42


Some tips
1) B. bomb cancel - using that attack is effective but takes a lot of time until you can shot again. The trick is to pause and unpause the game. That way you can kill several enemies that are too strong for J. satellite in less than a second.
2) Rush Jet is your best friend. You can skip several parts of the game with jet. For example in Tornado Man stage you don`t need to jump onto those spinning batteries.
3) T. Blow is godly powerful. It will kill an entire screen of enemies (95% of them). Just before you reach a crowded screen equip it and use it.

My best time is 55 minutes of dieing on Concrete Man, Tornado Man, Splash man, and Jewel man




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

Update I am now among the top 10 all clear. I made it 38:28. And BTW the name I used is fake.

Most NES games were sub 1 hour. Most NES games didn't have save features. The earliest way to continue were through codes that were built using your current data state(ahh it was fun hacking the system). So making anyone sit for more than 2 hours was redicoulos.

I'm looking forward to getting this game.

 

 



Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

I got a time of 2:50 for Galaxy man in time trial mode. I could do it faster as I didn't know the weakness, so I'll try again later.
