So what I am reading is a bigger delay for UK release...am I right? Maximised for PS3 means they then after mazimise for 360, during port and then region localisation then simaltanious release for 360/PS3 just ends up as delay for PS3 version in my view.

By the look of that statement it seems that the team will specializing the PS3 to the max and they will do the same to the 360.

Square Enix should of said: "The team is looking to specialize it for the PS3 and the Xbox 360 so that the game will be maximized [for both consoles, and then they will port it over to the 360 and utilize the capabilities of that console."

at worst, the graphics will be idenitcal.

I don't know if that's a great idea, judging from games like Kingdom Hearts and Dirge of Cerberus, getting the Japanese version just to get it first is not necessarily a good idea, as they may make tweaks or additions to the game before they release it in english.

I'm not buying their no-delays thing without dates. Well, we do have a clue about the release in Japan and that's enough for Japan, but I want to know something about the West.

I'll get the Japanese version first anyway but I'd like to know what's going on.

I do own a PS3 myself, and as far as I know, I'm for that little advantage the PS3 version of FFXIII will have, and it seems to me that a ''GTA IV'' won't be pulled out for this game. Remember what it was all about? ''Oh, GTA IV would have been much better if it was PS3 exclusive because they had to make the game fit in one DVD, lololololol!'' If both consoles can profit from a better game overall, and even if the PS3 version might have that little slight advantage, I'm for it.
