Come now Darth. As you said, I personally always favoured Versus, but don't kid yourself into believing Sony fans at large ever alloted the title nearly the prestige they do FFXIII.

90% of PS3 games have been delayed.

but when the time comes that a game is delayed when it's being released on another console.... people tend to blame the problem on the other console, with out looking at the history of delayed games.

In reality, Final Fantasy XIII isn't important anymore. It isn't a system seller for the PS3 (outside of Japan) anymore.

With it launching on both consoles, potential owners of PS3 or 360, or 360 owners who wanted the game would have had to buy the game, but now that 360 owners can buy XIII without having to buy a PS3, it cuts into sales, but we don't know by how much, as you can't anticipate console sales for a game.

So is Final Fantasy as important (outside of Japan)? No. But in Japan, where it is exclusive, it's still a big freaking deal.
