Forums - PC - Dark Horizon is released tomorrow, looks delicious - only $30!!

There hasn't been much Space Simulation games lately, though some are near the horizon. One of them is 'Dark Horizon', which simply looks amazing and is being done by a respectable developer (Paradox Interactive). It is being released September 23rd, tomorrow, for only $30!!

Just get Freelancer, that game rocks ass and is a lot cheaper.

Wow...I've been ranting for a year about how space sims have all but died out...replaced by modern FPSs. Glad to see they're still being made.

I'll keep my eye on it.

Oh man, this is exciting news. Last space sim I played was Freelancer and that so long ago.

anyone got this? I took my Sidewinder off the shelf and I'm looking for space sims. I'm playing Freespace 2 right now but I need eye candy space sim :P the video above looks boring, maybe it's the soundtrack and the fact that there's barely any action, but I won't be getting it by only one review and some videos alone :P

It looks boring to me.  I'm desperate for something to replace Freespace 2, but this doesn't look like it.  The ships in the video, even the ones that looks like they are fighters of some sort look slow compared to almost everything in Freespace 2.
