Forums - Gaming - Killing Cops is now E for Everyone

Parents who think its too violent for their kids could just not buy it for them or maybe they could explain to the child that it make believe.......o wait that would require Parents to know what their kids are up too and actually parent.

Thats like asking a parent who preaches abstinence to take the time and have an adult conversation with their child about safe sex before that child gets pregnant.......O Too Soon.

I don't know if this is relevant, but killing Lego younglings was quite arousing.

 Hilarious.

I do have a problem with a game that requires me to kill little children though like Painkiller Expasnion.  I don't mind killing flying babies though.  I forget which game flying babies was in.

Role Playing the Villian and pulling the trigger to kill the coppers is a little diffferent than watching a villian in an actual movie.

If it wasn't why would we play games at all.

I don't. I LARP. I just hang out here because the LARP forums suck.

White wolf?

Why it is for everyone.

A. You hit them then they fall down and disappear. No dead bodies. (Kids do this all the time with action figures. Do you want to make action figures T for Teens?)

B. No blood. No gore. Doesn't show sords or bullets penetrating bodies and cutting off limbs.

C. Legos do not resemble people really. I don't think people have C shaped hands that can't move and a big O on the top of the head with [ ] shaped bodies.

OP: hmm would you like to see a magic trick. Check my sig and I'll show ya.

Anyways it's a fucking lego game with characters that break into little pieces when you kill them. How is this teaching kids to kill cops. Hell for all I know it's teaching them to throw lego creatures or something. And even if it was bad... up to the parents not the government to censor content from their kids.

Who cares?

No content should be rated. Censorship is just a bitter aftertaste of our authortarian past.

I wish it was the past...

If it is rated E with that kind of content then someone screwed up, and I don't blame parents in this case for taking it out on developers and publishers, hell even other gamers.

I'm Unamerica and you can too.

The Official Huge Monster Hunter Thread:

The Hunt Begins 4/20/2010 =D

Not that it's a big difference, but it's not rated E (which is 6 and older), it's rated E 10+.

1. E 10+
2. There has already been Star Wars and Indiana Jones, where you massacre Nazis and shoot people with lasers...where was the upcry there?
3. I probably should lock this flaming thread.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )
