the perfect example is that it has been correlated that playing video games increases your reasoning capabilities, it has also been shown that brain training does not improve your mind.

Games increase your reasoning capabilities? Do you care to explain what kind of games? Let me guess, all games but Wii ones (at least, that's what you're implying). It's obvious you don't like any Wii games and that's fine, but saying the Wii (the hardware) is a toy is just ridiculous. Just say you don't like Wii games.

Maybe you should begin reading what you're writing.

Whoops, I was referring to RolStoppable's post but I was too slow with my posting.

theprof: a dildo is definitely not a toy and why it has a prefix (sex) which implies a different meaning.

A dildo is MOST DEFINITELY a toy!

theprof again: a console holds my music library and photos and i can solve complex problems within a game which gives me creativity and brain development in problem solving abilities and makes me resourceful.

I'm assuming that is your attempt to define the PS3 as something other than a toy (e.g. a console). Going by your definition, the SNES, Sega etc. don't classify as consoles either because they couldn't hold music libraries, store photos or graph parabolas.

first if you think a dildo is a toy, and not a sextoy, then you have no right engaging in any type of intelligent conversation.

LMAO!!!  I have no right to engage in any type of intelligent conversation?  Says the one who has yet to show any capability in doing so!  You further demonstrate your ignorance by resorting to "at least [insert excuse]" responses.  Backed into a corner because I proved your console definition to be narrow?

PS - I never said a dildo is not a sextoy.  Sextoys is just another subdivision of toys.

I use WiiFit to stay in shape which makes the Wii less of a toy than 360/PS3
I can also use it to store music and videos (SD card) and watch movies (streamed from my PC)

Brain Academy can keep your brain sharp and there are lots of games for mental stimulation like Zack & Wiki as well.

Again you fail to distinguish why the Wii is a toy moreso than any other gaming system. I guess PS2 was a toy by your defination too.

Edit: Where the Wii is different is that it's a pure Gaming System (or rather video entertainment system since WiiFit, Wii Music, Endless Ocean and others are not typical 'games') whereas the 360/PS3 try to also be multimedia entertainment systems since they play movies/music as well.  Really they are all the same - video entertainment.

yaknow what, if i said mcdonalds is not food. would you disagree? i don't think it's food, although it nourishes, it is all chemical and is so far from food it might as well not be called food.

i think the wii is like a mickyd's burger.

McDonalds is food indeed. It might not be the healthiest food around, or maybe even the best tasting (at least it wouldnt be if they didnt cook it in cocaine!). Yet, it very much is food. Its not "all chemical". There are regulations as to the food served and the actual BEEF that the burger is made out of. Do you really think that food can bepurely made from chemical and have values enough to nourish? Don't you think such a technology would be able to stop the hunger issues worldwide?
