Well, I've just finished listening to a Genius playlist, and, for the most part, it worked really well. A couple of the songs were 'odd choices' but, hey, it's knowledge bank won't be huge atm.
I've never really been satisfied with any music program in terms of organizing your stuff...Itunes and Winamp included, although Winamp has been my favorite so far.
I just stick to Windows Explorer, which actually does a better job in Vista than it did in XP. One nice little surprise about upgrading to go with all the bad ones!
We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls. The only thing that really worried me was the ether. There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke
It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...." Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson
What exactly does this feature do? I'm not up to speed on the new version.

Basically, it collects all of the information about your library, and stores it on a remote server that has an algorithm for working out your listening trends, it then compares them to other people's and to Apple's sales data. It then combines all of this data and tries to work out what songs go well together in your music library.

It's a shame that it only works with your Music Library because my library is really messed up with songs I downloaded and don't listen to anymore and worst it's split in two because I transfer songs to my iPod from two different computers (work and home).
I wish I could use Genius from my iPod (when it's connected to iTunes of course) because that's where my music collection is complete.
