First off they are rarely that much cheaper, IE. $55 at Gamestop for a $60 game, wtf.... Second, I don't like to put dirty discs or anything thats not handled by myself in my console... Opinions?

I try to avoid it as best as possible, but I have many used games.
I buy alot of old games and their really expensive if I want them new.
Me...but I sure do trade them in so others can=P I've traded in about 5 PS3 games, and I still have 12..what'd they say that 'attach rate' was again? =/
I try to avoid as much as well.....and I almost never buy greatest hits editions.....they look so out of place. Has anyone seen the PS3 ones......red???? REALLY????
Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.
Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

I have no problem buying used DS carts, but I haven't bought any used Wii games.
If I ever buy a PS3 (next year at the earliest) I'll probably feel comfortable buying used games since apparently Blu-ray is quite scratch resistant.

I don't buy used unless it's for out of production products...
I buy used games all the time.
I have never had a problem. I just make sure the games are in good condition.
It is amazing how many people will trade in a barely played game -- or near-mint condition game.
For example, We Love Golf is $50 new. At Gamestop, it is $40 used. Take off another 10% for the discout program ($15 per year). Final cost is $36.
Savings are greater when you take advantage of buy-2-get-1-free sales and extra value sales and coupons.
Also, buying used let's you try out stinkers before having to commit to them.
I do get some games new. I get most games used.
Sorry to disappoint the OP.

"What have i done.? Is it too late to save me from this place? From the depths of the grave? We all are those .. who thought we were brave."
I buy used games from gamestop but only when they have 25% off coupons, a lot of the times i would get a game in a very good condition a week after its release for about 40$.
I recommend googling cheap ass gamer because those forums have members post all the deals that they find and i find really good bargains. I also find out about some good games that i would otherwise miss.

I bet the ppl who don't buy used games here are either rich or modding their console.
