Hi everybody

i was just wondering what all the propaganda about lbp was about. I saw some videos about the game including the e3 video and was wondering if it would be worth a buy. Seriously, from what i saw it might be cute and uniqe, but what about the longtime gaming. I think i would get bored goin through levels even if somebody else created them. Maybe theres more to it and i dont know.

I dont try to aggrevate any lbp fans, so pls prove me wrong. I would love to learn more about the game

1. Information, ideas, or rumors deliberately spread widely to help or harm a person, group, movement, institution, nation, etc.

I mean, come on...that's not even close. So what? It's a hyped game with trailers? Oh no!

There are 50 or so pre-made levels from the developers and an almost limitless amount that you can download from other players around the world. There are dozens of options to customize your levels and you can download even more if you feel like it. If it's not your type of game, why can't you just realize that? I got bored of Super Mario Galaxy by the time I got 100 stars (another platformer), and yet it was still definitely worth my money.

im sorry but there have been way to many threads about LBP, especially about it either failing or succeeding. just let the game arrive, please.

I disagree..I got bored around 60 stars..and still think the game was worth it..and about LBP

it's all about creativity...I also love Spore..

all you do is create levels..and whatnot in LBP...but...is that bad?

all you do in Mario is jump...so I don't see the big problem

The word "propaganda" is not inherently perjorative (even the cited definition makes this clear), and his use of it seems pretty innocuous since *all* marketing *is* propaganda, including videos, previews in gaming magazines/websites, commercials, etc.

i usually like games which the majority likes, but yeah do u know anything mroe about the game itself like what do the levels consist of? is it a competetive or fun game? just give me specific reasons why you would like the game

btw i wasnt using the word the way its meant to be used, i used it to express the quantity and severity of things i heard about the game, to radicalize a topic

LBP will be huge

Just like other games that let players create and share ideas the gameplay will always be fresh and new. Like Warcraft 3 custom maps people make new maps all the time that aren't what blizzard made and the game is still going strong. In LBP you will be able to make any type of level you want. Just because it's a platformer doesn't mean you can't turn the level into something else and make it a different type of game.

LBP will not be as big as everyone says it will.
