On topic: Probably a day-one buy for me. Level 5 hasn't let me down let.

Screenshots and videos look very good so far but gameplay to be proven. WKC is on my list of games I would buy with a PS3 if/when I get one.

Also, bit of a damper when it looks like a Western release is ages away and a lot is riding on English subtitles for import. Wonder what Level 5 will say in their press release on 26 Sept.

If I would own a ps3 this would be the game I would be excited about it looks frikin sweet .

only final fantasy xii and versus will be better to this for a while.

Well I'm awaiting this game more than Final fantasy XIII but not more than Final fantasy Versus XIII so hell yes it is my second most anticipated game afterall.

I think this thread was placed in the wrong forum. Gaming Discussion should be reserved for the most general material. This topic is far too specific, and irrelevant to the majority of posters. This really belonged in the Sony forum. The original posters needs to use some better judgment this wasn't even a iffy supposition. This one had a very obvious answer. More to the point it validates any trolling that takes place, because parties that should not be remotely interested have a complete right to post. By going to the general public you ask for input from all posters, and not just a particular subset.

So yeah even though I have no PS3, have no inclination to purchase a PS3, and generally view this game as Fanboy fodder I will gladly comment. This games hype is disproportionate to any reality. There are two reasons for this. The first being that its exclusive to the PS3 which lets face it has few exclusives, and almost no exclusives within this genre. The second is that the developer is being lavished with praise, because it is a surreptitious attack on duplicitous Square for no longer being the bottom bitch to Sony.

To me there just isn't much justification for getting hyped about any title well over half a year away. Especially when this particular genre has a lot of good games out right now, and more in the near future. With Star Ocean, Final Fantasy, and probably two sequels out of Mistwalker in the offing for next year. There is no major reason to be overly excited about the prospects of this game next year.

I would say if you are getting stoked about this title right now this very minute. You probably need to consider leaving the gaming scene. Most people do not even plan wedding, vacations, or family reunions this far in advance. For gaming this is far too deep, and probably indicates an obsessive compulsive disorder.
