already had my third rrod...i brought a ps3 after my second. even though I sold my 360, I still like it and is cinsidering buying another later on ;)

BTW: I would not buy a 360 considering the widespread issues regarding the console.

I would just call MS and use the 3year warranty to get a new one, i don't see why anyone would get rid of it for a PS3 or upgrade to the elite.

@halil23 - I have had nothing but great support from MS in terms of my X360. I am sorry for whatever you THINK that MS did to you, but the fact is, in terms of the X360, they take great care of their customers.

If you are say your an "unbiased" gamer, you should'nt prove yourself wrong with unintelligent rambling posts....it just makes you look really bad.

Oh......Sony, MS, and Nintendo are all (Corporations) out to get your money, I guess its about personal preference regarding the lesser of the 3 evils.

While 'AAA' titles are indeed important, I think you're overstating the importance of them somewhat.

Bioshock was critically one of last years greatest games, a genuine 'AAA' title. Yet it was trounced in sales by Assassins Creed, which certainly isn't an 'AAA' title.

Metacritic:

Bioshock: 96%

Assassins Creed: 81%

The truth is, gamers play what they want to play, not what Metacritic or Gamerankings tells them to.

I'd take it into the store I bought it, and exchange it under the extended warranty I got, just like I did with the previous one. And then have a nice new shiny Xbox 360, muwahahaha. I kinda like when they break down. Then I just get to have it replaced with a brand new one for no cost. 8)

Though, I think MS pretty much solved the problem here. I don't think I'll ever get to trade in my current one now. 8(
