Linky?

She's not going to provide a link.

As a matter of fact, this thread was just her knee-jerk reaction to what someone must have said on another board.

She even acknowledges about four posts down that she didn't know anything about it.

Perhaps a calmer version of this thread would have been better.

Are you suggesting that Onimusha12 is infact Gballzack? :0
Heavens, where would you get such an idea?!

Well, I don't know how this will turn out, but I know that Final Fantasy 4 was done very well. I only liked that game before it was released for the DS but now I love it.

When you actually get your hands on it, then you can criticize it. For now, just calm down about Square-Enix being a worthless developer! ^_^

The BuShA owns all!

You seem to be filled with a lot of hate for no reason.

Just to crush any misconceptions, this game is amazing. Party talk was the only substantial loss, though I can live without talking to my other party members. You can be angry at Square Enix for taking it out, but seriously, don't let it stop you buying the (IMO) best role playing game released on the DS so far.

You hate the accents?  Because from what I know, using this accent method seems to be make the localizations of JRPGs better for some reason.  Look at Chrono Cross, that game used the same method and many praised it.

Yup ( keep in mind I'm am italian and I'm playing it in that language ).

However I find the translation itself really good.

DQ4 DS is fantastic game only a moron would miss this great experience ( the first for many and with a delicious fast pace ) because the point arise by the OP ( many of them are plain bullshit, atleast he could have play the DS version before start the thread ).

Watch out, I called Onimusha a she (and a fanboy) and got banned for it.

As in go buy us some coffee.

Not much of a source, but there are people talking about both DQIV's censorship in NA as welll as DQVIII's censorship.

Well hopefully someday these games will be released in the US uncensored when they're inevitably remade again.

It seems to me that this is just a Square Enix troll thread. You probably don't care in the slightest about this game, and I doubt you would buy it even if/when an "uncensored" version is released again.

For the third time, allow me to clear up misconceptions about this game.

The game is NOT censored. The dialects are cute, and they are only present in the first four chapters which are short. The only thing removed was team speak which lets the hero talk to his/her party members.

Please buy this game if you are intrigued by it. It really is the best role playing game on the DS so far.

Oh for the love of god why would I be trolling a game on a console I love? And yes I was actually considering getting this game before I saw this.

From what I understand the Team Speak is the majority of the character interaction in the game and very critical point in the game. I have no problem with the dialects what-so-ever or the renaming of stuff. The Team-Speak is just what bothers me.

I created this thread to draw out these matters and have them adressed as well as confirmed. As we can see, it's not the end of the world for this game, though it is a pretty dick move to cut out one of the key features of the game that contributed greatly to the characters in it.

Let's hope they release an E+10 or T version with the team talk included, though its very doubtful. Square-Enix isn't exactly big on their Western market.
