forgot to add, consumers like the idea or the feeling that they have choice i.e. high/low price, little lots/features. there are still a lot of people buying dvds who just need a little push towards bluray, now that hd tvs are at a obtainable price tag to the average consumer even more reason. i dont think sony needs to have the ps3 pushed any further than it already is at the price now its a bargain. there are seriously too many great features that sony has in the ps3 that i didnt even know till i got home and used it purely because it wasnt marketed or lack of. upscaling dvds for 1.

I wish they'd release a more affordable external BluRay PC drive. I hook my laptop up to my HDTV sometimes and use it as a monitor. If I had a BluRay drive that I could easily switch back and forth from my computer to my entertainment center, that would be the ideal situation.

since alot of people want to buy a ps3 just for blu ray, they should take out wifi, decrease the hdd space and make the price 250.

Why, wi-fi chips are pretty damn cheap and smaller HDD's can be more expensive in some cases simply due to the fact that pretty much anything under 40GB isn't even in production anymore unless it's flash memory. They'd have to find them or start making them which could be a costly venture.
