forgot to add, consumers like the idea or the feeling that they have choice i.e. high/low price, little lots/features. there are still a lot of people buying dvds who just need a little push towards bluray, now that hd tvs are at a obtainable price tag to the average consumer even more reason. i dont think sony needs to have the ps3 pushed any further than it already is at the price now its a bargain. there are seriously too many great features that sony has in the ps3 that i didnt even know till i got home and used it purely because it wasnt marketed or lack of. upscaling dvds for 1.
