i want to buy a modem that will have everything so i dont neeed to get a router and access point to conect my ps3 and xbox 360 to the internet. im planning to get adsl+2

Linux has never given me problems for anything I've ever had to connect online, including desktops, laptops, and all current-gen consoles and handhelds.

Yeah...try connecting to a wireless school network that has no clue how to use Linux.
