Man, you must have never played CoD 4 on PC. The shit's messed up over 40 players, it's not even fun anymore. I just hope that everything is balanced (maps, weapons, no fucking grenade and martyrdom kind of SPAM, etc.) in this game, otherwise I'm not going to touch this portion of the game EVER.

OMG I fell off of my chair. Why are you fanboys so adminant to compare this game to Gears? First KZ2 now Resistance 2? You'll get your Gears killer soon. Just as soon as they sell past 5 M. :)

 

 You came in here saying Killzone 2 will be better and that it will sell no more than the last game, you're trying to provoke people.  I'm not saying Res2 will sell better than Gears (I think it will beat killzone2), but I think there is no reason to simply assume Res2 will be inferior.  You never know about the future. And as for being adamant (that's how it's spelled by the way), I'm just countering your well thought out argument that "Killzone2 > res2".

Hmm, 'something' about it threw me off, I'm not entirely sure what it was. The very first scene with them coming into view from the corner, the trucks looked like they were 'placed' on top of the scenery to me, rather than driving through it.

My favourite scene was when the camera was at the back of a soldiers head as they drove past some dead allies, that was nice. I also dislike 'chunky' projectiles from rapid fire weapons (have the same complaint for The Conduit).

We've went from fighting over this game looking better than Gears 2 (Which most of us now agree on) to is this game going to look better than Killzone 2. Oh Playstation :D.

why is gears getting mentioned anyway. this thread is to celebrate that the ps3 has the best looking games comming out all in the matter of a few weeks of each other.

 

dont you think it tells you something when resistance 2 and killzone 2 are being compared. well it tells us that the best looking games are on the ps3, it is an argument that does no longer need to rage on.

it does my head in that many people, aka sony fans feel the need to bring up gears in a sony discussion, i mean come on, the xbots have stoped with the gears stuff because it is a game that falls short of the graphics of the upcomming ps3 games, not to mention it is a tps

But still people we should be praising these games and not using them to bash the other, as all the best looking games are all coming out on the same sony console, so i dont know what the deal is. We should be happy that the ps3 has the best looking exclusives.

FPS shooters this year on PS3 goes as follows KZ2> Resistance 2.

I understand what you're saying man but FYI they are two FPS games vying for supremacy in their genre. When the awards best FPS of the year comes up, those two will go up against each other...remember that. It's not like i'm laughing for nothing. LOL...might laugh might get worse once MAG comes out. Don't worry...I'm going to get KZ2 now. A friend of mine talked me into it pretty much. I've always thought the graphics was impressive. Besides when I buy the PS3 I might as well have a main FPS to focus on with all of the shooters I have to play on the 360. I mainly will be sticking to the PS3 for Action adventure, Fighting games. Cool beans.

Hey buddy, before you go mouth of- did you hear about the Gamestop manager press conference.   These were the guys that got to see the extended footage of the game on this very stage.  They saw the single player portion that follows the cinematic.  So, before you go mouth of, these were Xbox 360 fans who all bought PS3s just for this game (actually for this and little big planet).
