The guys I talked to at Gamestop said this game would stand toe to toe, and in many ways look better than Gears 2. I didn't know how that was possible, but if this is any indication, we have quite a visual feast on our hands.

well at least he mentioned another ps3 game, Well of course he did, what other game could possibly stand up to it. its only another ps3 game that looks better then resistance 2, way to go sony. Of course i aint including pc's because that is just not fair, when you factor in 3000 pound pc's and graphics cards that cost more then the ps3.

You doing this shows how much you thirst for this game to destroy Gears2 (Which it wont). Gears 2 isn't even an FPS, it's a TPS.

No, I'm buying Gears 2, I have it preordered. This game for the last six months has been the underdog. No matter what thread you go into, people talk shit about Resistance 2's graphics. Last week the Gamestop press conference had murmurs of this game looking as good / if not better than Gears 2. If this is indicative of the game's graphics, than I think I can say this will be an awesome experience.
