It is a cutscene from the single player campaign using in-game assets and rendered with the in-game engine.  The rendered footage is then filmed to create a cinematic experience. 

Please don't try to label people as fanboys.  It makes you seem ignorant.

Sorry, I thought this thread was dead due to the videos of the single player released yesterday.  Go look at the gameplay footage of the Redwood Forest level.  In my opionion, the gameplay footage proves the cutscene was representative of gameplay.  I stand by my original post.
