WOW, 360 really surprised me this week, never thought i would see this much sold in Japan. Good for microsoft, even though i don't like the xbox very much.

I'm calling it first. That thread is going to turn into the internet equivalent of the Two Minutes Hate against Nintendo. The readers of Digg really, REALLY hate the Wii, from what I've seen.

According to sinobi, it sounds like he thinks the 360 was and still is supply constrained.

Great numbers for 360. I only wish this was the start of ever increasing sales. Well.....here's hoping against, hope.

I believe the 360 will settle at a slightly higher rate than it has historically.  It seems to be improving annually in Japan.

The Wii is in a lull but that doesn't mean much.  The PS2 -- the second best selling console in Japan -- often sold 30k units in a week.  The Wii can make it up fast with a couple of big releases that lead to sustained high sales for a while.
