Ok... Nintendo fucked up the E3 conference, but... anyone thinks that TGS and the Nintendo conference will change the things?

I mean, things are shaping pretty good for the Wii, specially in Japan.

Im pretty sure they will "win" in the TGS. I know they don't attend at TGS, but their third party support from Japan is great compared to the third party games announced the last E3.

Nintendo doesn't attend TGS.

It's what they did last year--everyone hated the Wii Fit conference (not as much as this one, but still), and then they announced Monster Hunter and a few others at their October conference.

They sometimes do their own conference (which it seems they are) but don't usually go to TGS.

So... the Nintendo conference really confirmed? Anyway, if it iss then Ninty will make megaton announcements again but dont expect Kid Icarus and Kingdom Hearts 3 either.

Just to hype this, the conference was really confirmed by Ninty themselves and there are numerous new products that Ninty will announced this fall HELL FREAKING YEAH!

Nintendo will announce a number of new products at a fall 2008 press conference taking place early next month, according to reports.

The news comes from Nihon Securities Journal, translated by Kotaku, and pegs the date for the "Nintendo Conference Autumn 2008" as October 2.

The Nihon Securities Journal also says that Nintendo is planning to announce “new products” at the event.

The reported date of the press conference is one week ahead of the October 9 start of the Tokyo Game Show, an event which Nintendo traditionally sits out.

Nintendo responded to our request for comment, confirming that it will hold a press conference on October 2 in Japan, although the company’s brief statement left much to the imagination.

“In terms of the press conference, its content and announcements are still being finalized so we are not announcing anything at this time,” Nintendo said.

basically thiuer statemeant means they dont know what to announce yet, par example do they show pikmin/nnounce kid icarus now or do they wait until these products are closer to relese.
