I expected this, some people told me that IU can not sell 360's like Tales, my only answer to that was "Namco Bandai is not Square Enix when it comes to selling videogames"... Seems that i was proven right...

So this week was predictable to me: 360 up, Wii down, PS3 the same...

Great for Microsoft. They finally got over 700k in Japan. 1M definitely looks possible now. This will be a spike, but hopefully the reduced price will reflect in a long term boost so that it at least competes with PS3 numbers. Microsoft put a lot of effort into Japan and their strategy is finally paying dividends. It bodes well for the next generation of consoles.

If its real than its really good for 360.

I love how a bunch of people here were complete jerks to Mrstickball for suggesting that the 360 would outsell the Wii and PS3 this week in Japan in a thread last week. Don't forget to apologize to him on the way out. XD

We have short term memory when it comes to our faults.

 Its there own fault for not doing anything while Microsoft is doing everything.

And if I remember correctly, the price cut/new shipment happened in Japan on Sept 11 so we will still see more effects next week.

This, with the effects of the NA price cut as well, should put the 360 at 180k-200k WW for VGC numbers ending Sept 13.

I hope for the numbers ending Sept 20 to maintain this level, with the EU price cut as well.

X360 = 28681??? This must be a mistake.
