i just got lost odyssey a couple of days ago and it has 4 discs!!!!  I'm just wondering how long this game is.  if really long games like Oblivian and mass effect and them only take up one disc then Lost Odyssey must truly be a massive game...

Depends on if you do side quests or not.

I'd say 45hrs w/o sidequests, and 60 with. It's 4 discs because of the FMV cutscenes in HD. It's very space-consuming when you pack hours of HD movies onto DVDs.

wow that will make it the longest game i own.  its goina take me till the end of the year to beat this!  Right now i have 2.5hrs of gameplay put in and i'm at the part where you are on your way to the grand staff to do your investigation...

I put around 80 hours to get all the achievements, all sidequests, and DLC dungeon.

It's 30 hours with doing just the story.

I beat it in 37 with with doing every achievement that isn't insane. (i beat every optional boss and maxed all the mortals)

if you chill out it's 40ish main quest... if you're running through it it's probably 30ish hours

i like to take my time with any game (as long as its good) and get as much out of it as possible. so i could defiantly see myself putting in 50-60hrs.

Well I didn't rush through it. I wanted to play more and more of it, but I have this nice little stack of games that I have to play also.

Its pretty long. About 10-12 hours a disk, but there is a ton of exploring to do once you get on the Nautilus ship. Its an AMAZING game.

I have done about 70 hours for all the sidequests and I was very through, though there are 1 or 2 things that I still need to do
