That's strange it's another case in wich the Review don't match the score. Everything gets high notes, the graphics, presentation, sound; the controls get the lower point, but even the original Dreamcast controls weren't really precise.

It was a terrible game before why would it get a good score now?

well gameplay is the most important aspect in gaming it should hold the most weight in determining a final score.but the game was awesome on the dreamcast.a 7.5 isnt bad either.

Math says it should be 8.3.

But IGN doesn't average scores. That why it says NOT AN AVERAGE at the end of every review

control to a rhythm is critical, because the precision is a must to build up combos.

It's no different than a fighting game that has lags in controls. It just won't do.

I'm actually surprised it scored a 7.5. If I were to review GHWT and one of the buttons won't register at times, I'd give it no more than 2.
