Keep cutting those prices microsoft. It will eventually force sonys hand & i will be able to pick up a ps3 (2nd hand of course) in around 18 months time for peanuts

Then i'll have a blu-ray player to put alongside my "main gaming console" my 360

@dejelek -- nope the Elite is still 50 Euro more than a Wii. The 60gb 360 is 10 Euro less than a Wii though.

I have a feeling that M$ might be getting close to releasing announcing a next-box (E3 09 ?>). I mean the Arcade is dirt cheap now -- Its almost as cheap as a PS2...

A lot of people here especially in the UK are fashion driven and follow trends. PS has become a trend.

Sorry I live in the UK and I would say the 360 is certainly more respected here. There is pockets of PS3 support but in general there is alot more people I know who have 360's. UK is far more concerned with top games. BLU Ray sections in stores are mighty thin on the ground of late. In fact in both Zavvi and HMV the BLU ray section has been cut back. UK tends to follow americas in terms of trends and sales.
