On topic: The Wipeout series was one of my favourites back on the PS1. It's good to see a new (although a remake) game in 1080p/60fps.
Oh god, now we will get all this "Wipeout will be huge!"-stuff.
(And no its not a typo.)
This is a big "So What" to me, but I didn't think much of the first of the original wipeout.

Priceless, parrot I believe you said we would eat crow earlier in this thread. I'm not sure exactly what the term means but if you would so kindly go outside catch a couple crows and eat them then I might think about not rubbing this in your face too much ;)

If I'm not mistaken, those screens are from that one gameplay mode (don't know what it's called) where colors change and such while you're racing. I believe that mode was also the one that failed the epilepsy tests that caused the game to be delayed.

Oh. I do remember reading about the epilepsy story recently. Well, I am sure it looks better in motion. But for the bold claims of the title of this forum, I can't say it amazes me. :)

Funny, not only is the game not at 60fps when it's 2 players split screen, the game doesn't even support 4 players split screen. TalkingParrot, ur losing it....although its hard when arguably u never had it to begin with. Like Torillian said (I think it was him), if u wouldn't put ur blind fanboyism on the title and OT, many ppl wouldn't be insulting u and or this game. This would have been a PS fan/wipeout fan's best thread ever.
Anyways, this game looks awesome, I never played any of the wipeouts but I like these futuristic racers (only ones I've played are Fzero 64 and the GC version, awesome games).
I loved Pulse, so I am really looking forward to this game
Real Life has nothing on those graphics!

Not my cuppa tea (I'm not a racing fan outside of Mario Kart), but a nice showcase for PS3's power, indeed.
