Forums - Nintendo - Who else wants a Crazy Taxi for Wii?

All right, one franchise that absolutely NEEEDS a Wii entry is Crazy Taxi.

-The Wii-mote in wheel mode would be perfect

-The game would perfectly fit the Wii's 'party console' feel

-SEGA and Nintendo are best buddies right now.

Anyone agree?

ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. No, I think I would be more comfortable with my Dreamcast version, personally eanyway.

It's not a bad idea though. Not bad at all. They should do it. Your on to something there.

If Sega / Hitmaker do make Crazy Taxi for Wii, they should at least offer support for custom MP3s from an SD card so that I don't have to put up with the fucking Offspring.

WHERE IS MY KORORINPA 3

Nah. i played it to death on the Dreamcast and when they put it on the GC it was worse than the original.

^^You can't possibly think a Wii CT would be bad? It would add to the 'Crazy' if you were actually steering!

Also, it would probably only be a $30-$40 game. Or maybe, since the original game was on a 1gb disc and we can now compress games from that time to

It was a fun game, but it was a formula which worked much better in an arcade setting, I feel.

"I mean, c'mon, Viva Pinata, a game with massive marketing, didn't sell worth a damn to the "sophisticated" 360 audience, despite near-universal praise--is that a sign that 360 owners are a bunch of casual ignoramuses that can't get their heads around a 'gardening' sim? Of course not. So let's please stop trying to micro-analyze one game out of hundreds and using it as the poster child for why good, non-1st party, games can't sell on Wii. (Everyone frequenting this site knows this is nonsense, and yet some of you just can't let it go because it's the only scab you have left to pick at after all your other "Wii will phail1!!1" straw men arguments have been put to the torch.)" - exindguy on Boom Blocks

I'm kind of surprised that they haven't already announced a Wii version of Crazy Taxi, but with many of the DC's old games and other Sega classic IPs coming to Wii (Sonic, Top Spin, House of the Dead, Ghost Squad, etc.) I wouldn't be shocked if we heard of a Wii version soon.

I LOVE crazy taxi actually. Not the arcade game so much. But that game and Paperboy or whatever were addictive. (Oh and Simpsons Road Rage xD)

I used to like them, seem too shallow now.

Hmm... the controls have to be really tight since the roads are so small & u have to do a lot of sharp turns. Maybe with motion+?
