Different cultures.

Not a lot of western gamers like JRPG's either. (Although you'd think all gamers do looking through online forums).

Although JRPGs have been adopted more readily in NA and EU then FPS have in Japan.

Perhaps Japan as a culture is simply more traditional and less willing to try new things.

Sorry, PC gaming isn't dying. On the other hand console gaming like we know it is threatened.
(Wii = win, casuals = win, more than 7/10 games on PS3 has failed(/will fail?) to profit.) = you think hc-gaming on consoles is going to stay? :)

sure PC FPS is fun and all... until cheaters comme into play... but even then it's still fun. The thing is that this is the type of games where you feel you have the most controls about what you do... cause it's a real 3D environement... (well that goes for all first person games).

But console FPS have me a bit set back cause although I loved goldeneye at the time, I think current games handle like trucks on an icerink.... I mean I have so much hope for Wii FPSes just not the time to try them yet (will see the conduit ^^)
