I have the Japanese version. Lame because this type of game is a success because of its quirky dialogue.

Cant wait to actually be able to play it instead of walking around aimlessly.

I can't wait. I fucking hate what Nintendo has become. I'm sick of playing the same game three times now. This is the one game that will put them back in good graces.

Can't believe I wasn't the first in this thread, I've been following the translation ever since they announced it, I used to be apart of the Starmen.net forums back in the day, but I love Earthbound and I can't wait to play their finished product. I played it when the only thing that was english was the battle system just to test it out, now I just can't wait till this game is finished, I haven't played it since so as to not spoil anything for myself.

Oh man I got the games mixed up.  My friend forced me to buy Paper Mario, and told me I have to play Earthbound on an emulator.  They're the 2 great Nintendo RPGs I missed out on.

Wait, is Mother 3 getting translated before Mother 1?  what kind of backwards world is this?

They should just pay the fan translators a token amount for doing all the work... heh bet they wouldn't mind.

There has been a translated copies of it all over the place.

I used to have one when i thought pirating was cool. 

I find it so odd that this translation can be talked about so openly and stuff.
