My student loan wont cover all the games i want!

Well I like survival horror games. Hell I even enjoyed Alone in the dark... to me a 7/10 rated survival horror game is much better than a 10/10 final Fantasy game. So Silent hill should be enjoyable I think as long as its not a complete crock.

Banjo on the other hand...I don't like platformers at all but ive been looking at tech demos and gameplay demos fo this game and this seems really interesting. Seems like the kind of game where you have to get the special sticky wheels to get to the next level which is up the hill...and to do that you have to figure out how and where to get those wheels. I love that shit... I think banjo will be a solid 8.5/10.

Buying games is one thing. Finding time to play them is another. How on earth are you going to have time to play all those games this Fall? There are a couple of games I want but I'm gonna be in school and really don't have that much time to play all of them so the only must-buy for me this fall is Resistance 2.

If I had the time and money, I'll purchase all the aforementioned games. I kinda have the money but the time just isn't there and it makes no sense to purchase them noww when I may be able to get them cheaper when I finally have time to play them.

I just don't get why everyone releases their games during the holiday season. There's been a game drought on the ps3 during the summer break (when people tend to have more time). Now it's fall, and they are putting everything out.

Christ, The amount of games coming out between now and xmas is overwhelming, I mean if you like your yearly updated games like need for speed, smackdown, pro evo's and fifa games that's already £160 right there, then theres the multiplats like tomb raider underworld ,fallout 3, dead space ect ect, then from a 360 only owners perspective theres Left 4 Dead, Fable 2, Gears of war 2 ect, and to top it off theres also great xbla games coming like Duke nukem 3D, Origional N64 Banjo & kazooie, Portal: still alive and finally GTA IV DLC.............. Good luck to all the folks who own both ps3 and 360 this year, Your gonna be exhaused with all the ovetime at work your going to have to do to pay for all that lot

PS : I only will buy on first day games if I have time to play them that week though so some of my pruchase will probably happen a few weeks after the game is actually released...

 Project origin was moved to 2009 luckily...but you reminded about golden axe. Dead Space too...god damn it...500 dollars in games this holliday season.

I tend to take my time gaming.

I really wish game devs would stagger their releases all year long. Smaller games like golden axe are most likely gonna be left unnoticed this fall and end up selling for cheap at a loss. I feel sorry for the devs of these games. The holiday season is not the only time people play games...why don't companies get this?

Its will benefit the consumer though because many of this games would end up dropping their prices fast due to poor sales stemming from immense competition and there's only so much money and time to spend especially here in the US where there is a recession.

I will play Gears 2, Dead Space and Resistance 2 in that order. I do not see the point in purchasing approximately seven games at or near the same time. It would not be possible to beat the campaign modes and enjoy the online modes if I purchased that many games...unless I pull a Howard Hughes and sequester myself in a room 24/7.

Valkyria Chronicles i wish it would go multi plat, but if it dose not when the ps3 hits 199 or there about i will buy a ps3 to play Valkyria Chronicles
