I think you're gonna have to hold onto that thought until the gen is over... The Wii may be around for a long time.

 Best games is not what wins a generation, its most games. Size and breadth (variety) of a consoles library are what bring in the masses (or don't when they are lacking) in the back half of a generation.

Just some examples of what I'm saying:

• gen 2 - Intellivision and Coleco had games that blew away anthing on the Atari, but Atari's library was sooooo much bigger
• gen 4 - Similar libraries, similar sales
• gen 5 - some of the highest rated games of all time were on the N64, but the huge library belonged to the PS
• gen 6 - largest library in history, and largest sales in history both to the PS2

I dont think that the handful of games you mentioned(some of wich can be flops ) that the rival consoles do way better proves in any way the Wii being in fulll swing in 2009.For what I can see the big games continue to be announced in the HD consoles.

You may be the only one that thinks that.Face it ,saying the Wii has better games or game library that either the 360 or the PS3 is like saying the Sega 32X has better games that the Game Cube or Wii.A nonsense.

Well unlike the PS3s already shown line-up we still have to wait for Nintendo too show us there stuff!

Diomedes you forget that Taste matters most in terms of games you buy, i also think that Wii has better library, and better upcoming games then PS3. You may disagree

A better idea would be for you to not just conveniently merge the two HD consoles as if they were one thing, for the sake of helping you with any argument you might have. Specially when one of them has a fairly great line-up - present and future, and the other does not.

2009 for wii will put 2008 to shame
