I posted a piece of news and gave my opinion, but some haters, that obviously got nothing else to do will try to put me down.

Read the OP, haters. I asked for your opinions, I dont want to get lectured by some random people. This news is really relevant, and it could go anyways. I never said that it wouldn't favour the Wii.

Some people here get annoyed by some news, incredible. People have to have the same opinions as you do, or else they are trying to put Nintendo down...sad, very sad.

You put yourself down. Everything you say is some form of self-loath and annoying. People aren't going to respect you when you don't even respect yourself. Or if you get on their nerves.

Basically you bring everything on yourself by being a concern troll. Trolls are not well liked.

Plans can change. If not, then so be it.

Yeah, the plan barely started though.  Gonna be a awhile before a new plan comes.  They will become the japanese EA/Activision (minus a lot of the sales).

But you are forgetting that plans change really fast whenever the Wii is involved.

In mid 2006 Capcom planned to have only a single game for the Wii, a Resident Evil spinoff. In early 2007 they decided to make an enhanced port of RE4 and another game (Zack & Wiki). Half a year later they announced that Monster Hunter 3 is going to be Wii exclusive and decided to port Okami to the Wii and announced a Golf game. In mid 2008 Capcom makes more announcements. Another port, this time from a 360 game (Dead Rising), a new exclusive (Spyborgs), Mega Man 9 has the Wii as the lead platform, ported over to the HD consoles.

You see, Capcom's plans for the Wii are ever changing and they do so every six months or so. Everytime they increased support because the Wii kept selling.

So it likely means Wii gets a couple exclusives out of this. Wii domination in year who-gives-a-shit-'cause-I'm-not-a-fanboy!

BTW, they didn't say anything about the DS or PSP either. Are they dropping support for those either? Hell no. They have a bunch of profitable series for the DS (Mega Man Star Force and Ace Attorney), they have a blockbuster with Monster Hunter on the PSP, and they have bestselling Zombie games for the Wii (fingers crossed for Dead Rising).

Capcom is supporting all systems, because of M4: Multiplatform Means More Money.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

As already said, they seem to change their plans every few months.

Every major HD game going multiplat between PS3, 360 and PC?

Ei Kiinasti.

Eikä Japanisti.

Vaan pannaan jalalla koreasti.

Nintendo games sell only on Nintendo system.

If RE5 is on the PC, it had better have mouse control.

Capcom doesn't support PSP or DS at all either. Outside of MH for the PSP and Phoenix Wright and MM for DS, there's been nothing more from them in the last year.

Only a multiplat release of Neopetz for DS and Wii. Tell me a recent game from them for the DS or PSP here in America...

If those are released games, then it's a lie to write they don't support them at all, even as hyperbole.

And your claim of lack of support for them supposes that Capcom is giving a significantly larger amount to the other systems. Even including online games, their output for the HD systems isn't that much. They may be higher profile games, but it's still only a handful for each 7th gen system.

They aren't singling any system out, no matter how much you spin the numbers.

That is the thing what makes RE5 interesting. It will sell a lot more than RE4.

And Wii Music will sell even more than that,

Guys, Capcom is not talking about the DS, PSP, and the Wii. They are talking about the Xbox 360, PS3, and the PC. This is where Capcom incurs the most development cost. This is why the Xbox 360 had only two exclusives one of which has been ported to the PS3 and PC. And also why Devil May Cry 4 was a multiplatform release as well as their other PS3, Xbox 360, and PC releases.

The financial reports even states this. "an integrated development environment built to provide common development tools for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC platforms."

Why do people believe that causal sports games will sell on the Wii. Madden All play has not proven to be a system seller nor did We love golf nor will any other casual effort. EA's Tiger Woods Golf games do not feature All Play and sell very well on the Wii. PES does not feature any casual elements. It's a hardcore soccer/Futball game.

Oh wait, They are talking about Camelot developed games like We love tennis. However We love golf did bomb every it was released. This strategy may or may not work for them. But Wii motion plus could and should help them greatly. They could really make a true golf sim or Tennis sim that helps improve a person's golf swing or their backhand. Interesting times, Interesting times.

If Nintendo is successful at the moment, it’s because they are good, and I cannot blame them for that. What we should do is try to be just as good.----Laurent Benadiba
