Yes get a PS3. PS3 has the best exclusive games on the way and it has the only exclusive game that received 10 out of 10 this generation with MGS 4.

Best Blu-ray player around. If it's 60 gig or 20 gig, do it. Anything else, no hurry. Try to see how much your parts can go for on ebay. If the value for the parts are lower than the PS3, then it's a good deal. If not, sell the parts on ebay. PS3 should get a price cut sooner or later. Probably $299 next year.

If it's between a 60GB and a 40GB then it's quite easy to tell.

The 60GB has four USB ports. The 40GB has two.

The 60GB has a section at the front for flash memory card slots. The 40GB does not.

Enjoy your PS3. I say do not waste money on PC gaming.New PC rig just for Crysis is not worth it and these latest games require really high specs.
