exactly, no one is forcing you to keep all of that data on your hdd. Beaten a game and bored of it? Just delete the install data off your ps3, your save data will still be there (because its saved in a different place). Then you'll have more space for the next game you want to play, and if you decide you want to play the first game again a few months later just reinstall it to your hdd.
Really people its as simple as that, you only need enough room on your hard drive for the 2-3 games your currently playing.
I'm surprised none of the posters above me even mentioned this...
