But Remember Assassin Creed, a game that was supposed to come on PS3 and then only came to xbox360.
Despite no being exclusive, the game get VERY good sell on the PS3 because it was expected by every PS3 owners since months.

I believe Bioshock is in a similar situation (despite the year late) : lot of PS3 owners expected to play it and then, suddenly, it become a xbox360 exclusive ... So Bioshock on PS3 will sell well

 He means that when Assassins Creed was first announced, it was a PS3 exclusive, however, it quickly became multiplat. But I don't really see how this has anything to do with Bioshock, as they're completely different scenarios.

BioShock was released on August 24, 2007. It would be around 14 months later it makes an appearance on PS3. Lost Planet appeared on PS3 14 months after the PC/X360 launch.

I'll be buying it since I never played it (only once for like 20 min at a friends house). I think that Bioshock's sales will be something like:

Bioshock (360) 2:1 Bioshock (PS3) (if not, atleast 1.5:1) which would be like 1 mil LTD. First week sales WW like 120k MAX.

It has been confirmed bioshock will take 5GB space on the HDD with more than 10 minutes for installation. Just for info

Oblivion was released on the PS3 12 months after it released on the 360 and it only sold 57K in week 1 in NA. Bioshock sales will take a similar path to what Oblivion did.

For Week 1 I predict 55K in NA and 25K in EU for a total of 80K Week 1.
LTD sales will be around 450-500K WW.

yea, that really put a thorn in my ass. I've questioned the mandatory install when DMC4 needed one, but now needing an install for a year old game, when the competing console didn't need it.

PS3 sales were bad when it released.

 

Oblivion managed to sell 710k (could be more, cuz IDK about the others data, seems kinda fishy) at a very low installed base, and u think that Bioshock , an actual GOOD game (im sorry, Oblivion sucked balls IMO) Would sell less than the game u used as reference even with a higher installed base?
