Phantasy Star Coming To The Nintendo DS!

This Friday's issue of Japanese game mag Famitsu announces that the DS is getting Phantasy Star Zero. The game's characters are designed by Toshiyuki Kubooka (THE iDOLM@STER), and the scenario is mystery novel writer Teru Arai and former PSO quest honcho Tooru Shiwasu. The up-to-four-player game features multi-player over Nintendo WiFi. The cool part: The chat system supports stylus sketches. The game is slated for this winter in Japan, and if the big Phantasy Star Portable sales are an indication, this game should do very well.

Now make a wii one plz sega . I played the hell out of Phantasy Star Online Ep1&2 on GC . Never got to try it online sadly . wish they let you play online with the GC version on the wii .

Really cool. I like the Phantasy Star series and it's great to see one coming out for the DS. The game looks really good and I like that it's multi-player.

They had better localize it.

There are so many reasons why I should get a DS now... =(

brawl4life, there's no way it can work. When you go into your gamecube mode, it's looking for the gamecube modem. There's no way they could change that if they wanted to, since your system ceases to be a Wii, and becomes a Gamecube.

I wish it'd work too, but no mas.

Oh shite, the game looks very good graphically for a DS game even if they are scans. I'll import this bad boy if it never gets over here.

Well it wouldn't matter because the PSO 1&2 servers are down since april 2007..
