Whether or not Wii outsold them both, PS3 being above half of Wii is good enough, not to win but at least keep up.

360's battle with PS2 is just sad.

The PS3 is on track to beat the best year ever of the PS2 in Others which was 2003 ( and it cost twice what the PS2 was costing that year...).

It's the only market where the PS3 is able to sustain the legacy of the PS2.

didnt you know that the 360 was ment to go toe to toe with the ps2. thats why theuy had the pricecut. its microsofts big plan all along, thats why they put the prices down, to try and nail the casket shut.

 

ps3 still around 80K whoop whoop.

956 units between the PS2 and the 360...

The 360 could use another price-cut and some strong bundles in the EU this xmas.

I was just gonna say this.  I also agree.  Hopefully the 360 will get a sizeable increase over last week (maybe not outselling the PS3 for that week)  But Microsoft needs a significant increase AT LEAST for it to be worth it.
